Delete your account and data

You can delete your Gym account and all of its data at any time, either in the App or by sending us an email. Gym is published by Pixoby.

Delete in the App (fastest)

If you added an email or signed in with Apple or Google

  1. Open Gym and go to Profile.
  2. Open Account.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

If you use Gym without an account

  1. Open Gym and go to Profile.
  2. Tap Delete my data and confirm.

Deletion in the App takes effect immediately and cannot be undone.

Request deletion by email

If you no longer have the App installed or cannot sign in:

  1. Email info@pixoby.space with the subject "Delete my Gym account".
  2. Send it from the email address on your Gym account, so we can confirm the request comes from the account owner.
  3. Include your Gym username.

We process deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done. If you used Gym without an email address, we cannot verify an email request against your account; please use Profile > Delete my data in the App instead.

What is deleted

Everything linked to your account, as described in our Privacy Policy:

  • Your account: email address, sign-in links to Apple or Google, display name, username and avatar choice.
  • Your profile: sex, age, height, bodyweight, experience, goal, unit system, and calorie and macro goals.
  • Your training data: routines, workouts, sets, strength ranks and rank history, muscle ranks, body weight entries and goals.
  • Your nutrition logs and any meal photos stored with them.
  • Your game progress: XP, level, gems, streaks, quests, medals and league history.
  • Your friendships and friend requests, your push notification token, and our record of your subscription status.

After deletion you no longer appear in friends lists, leagues or leaderboards.

What is kept

  • Backups: copies in our database backups are overwritten within 4 weeks.
  • Store purchase records: Apple or Google, and our subscription provider RevenueCat, keep their own records of purchases you made, for example for billing and tax purposes.
  • Analytics and crash reports already sent to Firebase and GlitchTip are not linked back to a profile and expire under those services' retention settings.
  • Emails you sent us, if any, for as long as needed to handle your request.

Subscriptions are not cancelled automatically

Deleting your account or the App does not cancel a Gym Pro subscription, because it is billed by Apple or Google. Cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings before you delete your account, so you are not charged again.
